Our selection process includes multiple interviews to ensure that each teacher not only meets educational standards but also possesses the necessary teaching skills and cultural adaptability to succeed in U.S. schools.
All our international teachers hold valid teaching licenses from their home countries and are eligible to obtain the necessary U.S. certifications upon arrival. This ensures they meet local educational standards and are ready to teach immediately.
International teachers bring valuable global expertise and diverse perspectives, enriching the curriculum and driving innovation in your classrooms. With a high retention rate of 97%, they offer stability and consistency, minimizing disruptions to students' learning. Their long-term commitment of up to 5 years helps foster a deeper understanding and mastery of subjects, ensuring a stable and enriching educational environment.
The international teacher’s visa is tied to one school. While they are only authorized to work at that school during their time in the U.S., they can request a transfer. However, this process is lengthy and complicated, requiring proof that the current school is not a good fit.
The process of integrating international teachers into your schools typically takes 8-10 weeks, ensuring an efficient and smooth transition.
RVP provides comprehensive support throughout the entire process, including assistance with hiring, visas, relocation, and any other necessary support to ensure a seamless transition for both the school and the teacher.
The teacher can stay for up to 5 years. The visa is initially valid for 3 years, with the option to extend for an additional 2 years. After the contract ends, the teacher must return to their home country to share the knowledge they’ve gained. They may return to the U.S. after 2 years under the program.
